Ms Mashiat Tabassum has been promoted to Assistant Professor

Ms Mashiat Tabassum has been promoted to Assistant Professor of Dept. of Information Science and Library Management (ISLM), University of Dhaka (DU). Ms Tabassum joined Dept. of ISLM, DU as Lecturer in 2015.

Ms Tabassum completed her BA (Hons.) and MA in Information Science and Library Management from University of Dhaka. She has received numerous institutional awards as well as academic honours that include Dean’s Merit Award in 2014 as a recognition to obtaining the highest CGPA in BA Honours in the academic year 2011.

Besides her academic performances, she performed music on stages several times including the 50 Year celebration program of the Department of Information Science and Library Management at the University of Dhaka.
