Invitation: Collaboration and sharing knowledge: Enriching LIS Academics and Professionals in Bangladesh

We are pleased to invite you to join at a research seminar titled “Collaboration and sharing knowledge: Enriching LIS Academics and Professionals in Bangladesh.”

This Seminar is jointly hosted by National University, East West University library and The Librarian Times.

National University, Bangladesh is a parent university of Bangladesh that was established by an Act of Parliament as an affiliating University of the country to impart graduate and post-graduate level education to the students through its affiliated colleges and professional institutions the country. It is the 2nd largest university in the world according to enrollment throughout.

East West University was established in 1996 as a non-profit organization. The university is the first major project of the Progoti Foundation for Education and Development (PFED), a non-profit, non-political, charitable organization maintained by a group of academics, business leaders, professionals and education enthusiasts led by Dr Mohammed Farashuddin, economist and former governor of Bangladesh Bank.

The Librarian Times (TLT) is the first ever and only professional news bulletin in Bangladesh for the library and information profession.

One of the aims of the event is to have a meeting point of the LIS academics, professionals, researchers and students where everyone will have the opportunity to get to know about LIS sector in the USA.

You will get some networking and socializing opportunity with other professionals from different organizations.
