Mirzapur Cadet College Library, Tangail has launched Koha-Open Source Integrated Library System on 07 April 2019 to manage its library. Honourable Principal of Mirzapur Cadet College, Mr Biman Roy Chowdhury, Adjutant Major Malek, Medical Officer Major Dr Khushrooz Samad, Librarian Mr Md. Nayeem Moortoza, faculty members, officials and students were present in the Inaugural session of the software.

The principal mentioned in his speech that, “Mirzapur is the third Cadet College of Bangladesh which has such a historic library and it is our pride to make the library digitized”.

Director of Bishwa Sahitya Kendra Mr Shamim Al Mamun, Head of Regulatory and Corporate Affairs Mr Humayun Kabir, twice Everest winner Mr M A Muith and Head Master of Kolatia High School Mr Md. Enamul Haq were present at the event.

District Government Public Library organized a prize and certificate distribution session at its Hall Room on 10 April 2019. The event was organised to celebrate different national days including Victory Day, International Mother Language Day and National Children’s Day. On the occasion, the organiser arranged several activities including essay writing, book reading, art, and storytelling.
