Mir Adiba Awlad

Mir Adiba Awlad is the senior librarian in International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB). She has completed her B. A (Hons.) & M.A in the Department of Information Science and Library Management from the University of Dhaka. She is also an M.Phil. Researcher at National University, Gazipur.

Ms Adiba started her early career as a school librarian in Australian International School. Till now she has been working for school libraries, her research field is national and international school libraries, she is very much keen to develop a strong platform for school libraries and librarians in Bangladesh.

She has also been working for her school publication. She has successfully created 2 yearbooks for her school and running a monthly publication for the past 3 years. And she is well known in her organization for organizing successful events.

Her goal is to motivate young learners to use school libraries more efficiently and acknowledge the value of school libraries by organizing these events.
