Koha-ILS and MARC21 Training at DIU Library
Daffodil International University (DIU) Library is going to start Koha-ILS and MARC21 Training (17th Phase) from 19th April 2019 to 22nd April 2019 at DIU campus. For the skill development of the library professionals, the DIU library has been organizing Koha Software and MARC21 training in their own campus since 2012 and successfully completed their 16th phase till date. Information Professionals, Knowledge Managers, Information Entrepreneurs, Students of the LIS Education are encouraged to register for the training program.
Training Outcomes:
After successful completion of this training the participants will be able to:
Deploy / Install Koha on their own computer /server
Learn basic commands of Linux which may be helpful to use Koha.
Effectively Configure/customize Koha according to needs.
Learn to use koha smoothly.
Learn MARC 21 and using it in koha cataloguing.
Learn how to control bibliographies using Koha and MARC 21.
Who Should Attend?
The training program is intended for library and information professionals, knowledge managers, information entrepreneurs, students who have the interests, initiatives, and need to set up automated library management in their organizations.
The number of participants will be limited to 20 (Twenty). (On First Come First Serve Bases)
