On-demand Information Literacy program held at North South University Library

North South University Library arranged an on-demand Information Literacy program. The first session was held on 15th November 2018 at the cyber section of the library for the students of the Economics department.

The program was conducted by the university librarian Dr Md. Zahid Hossain Shoeb and senior officer Mr Rajiv Mahmud. The main purpose of this session was to make the students enlightened about the services and e-resources provided by the library, help them with their research queries and engaging them more toward scholarly works. The topic included in the session were: useful Databases for Economics, basic and advanced searching strategy, automatic citation management software specially Mendeley, Plagiarism Spectrum and usage of Turnitin and MyAthens.
