TLT board helps students and library professionals succeed, by offering programs like TLT Sponsored Scheme Scholarship Award 2018. The board announced the first winner of the TLT Sponsored Scheme Scholarship Award 2018 on 8 April 2018. Today, I am pleased to share my experience with this award how this helped me in my student life.

Words are used for communication with people, mutual understanding, expressing the feeling of a person, but I don’t have any word to express my heartiest gratitude for obtaining TLT Sponsored Scheme Award 2018.

Everyone has their dreams, and people try hard and soul to fulfil their specific dream. People reach their final footsteps who are industrious. It may take more times, or it may take less time, but one will find the desired way one day.

The path of a student is not plain and simple, and they face various difficulties to lead their studies. I am not different from others.

Because of TLT Sponsored Scheme Award, I was able to study accurately and correctly with full concentration, and no tension appears at that time. I am grateful to the honourable teacher of my department because they are beneficial, cooperative, friendly, kind, supportive, sympathetic, caring and hospitable to the students. It was a critical time that I was facing severe financial problem during my student life. TLT gave me such an excellent opportunity for continuing my study without any barrier. As a result, I was able to cut a good figure in BA and MA, and I didn’t have any pressure to earn more money.

Besides, every person has some overwhelming memory which is unforgettable in their life. The most memorable moment was the day of the 51st conference of the University of Dhaka when I had awarded for “Md. Shahidullah Gold Medal-2017”. This award was given by the honourable President of Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid for securing the highest CGPA in MA in 2018.

Moreover, I have also won provost award of Bijoy Ekattor Hall which was conferred by the honourable Vice-Chancellor Dr Md. Akhtaruzzaman of the Dhaka University at the time of 2018. All these happened because of TLT Sponsored Scheme Scholarship Award.

It is my pleasure to share with everyone that I have been appointed as “Executive Apprentice” in Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Limited under the Ministry of Science and Technology, The People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Finally, I would like to thank TLT members from the bottom of my heart, and I am grateful for their support. It will be appreciative if TLT continues this scholarship in future for any needy students.

Last but not least, it is the humble request to you, please, pray for me that I will be able to go further way in coming days.

At last, I want to finish my word with Robert Frost Poem “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”.

“Whose woods these are I think I know.

His house is in the village though;

He will not see me stopping here

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

To stop without a farmhouse near

Between the woods and frozen lake

The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound’s the sweep

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.”
