Tasnim Fatema has been promoted to General Manager of BB Library

Apu, Dhaka

Ms. Tasnim Fatema has been promoted to General Manager of Bangladesh Bank Library (BBL) from Deputy General Manager on 30 December 2019. She joined BBL in 2000 as Assistant Director.

She completed her BA (Hons.) and MA in Library and Information Science from Dhaka University.

Before joining at BBL, she worked at The Society for Environment and Human Development (SEHD) and SAARC Meteorological Department. Earlier in this year, she also received ITEC scholarship and attended two week-long Certificate Course on Total Solution for Integrated Library System & Institutional Repository at National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) Chennai, India during 19-30 August 2019. Ms. Tasnim Fatema also visited USA in 2010 to attend the Library Assessment Conference organised by the Association of Research Libraries.
