Training program on Modern Library Management held in Dhaka

The National Library of Bangladesh organised a 10-day long training program on Modern Library Management (8th Batch) on January 19 – 29, 2020 at its premises.

A total of thirty participants from various Primary Teachers Training Institute (PTTI) Assistant Librarians, Govt. Colleges Librarians/Assistant Librarians, DC office Librarians, University library professionals attended the training program. This training program was arranged in collaboration with the Directorate of Archives and Libraries under by Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of Bangladesh. The National Library’s Chief Bibliographer/Deputy Director Mr Md. Jamal Uddin coordinated the training program.

Mr Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan the Director-General and Md. Shujaat Ullah Director, the Directorate of Archives and Libraries were present at the certificate-giving ceremony held on January 29.
