Hi everyone,
I am Prodip Roy, currently, I work as the Library Officer at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. I am also a part-time PhD candidate in Business Information Systems studying under the School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain at RMIT University.
I was born and raised in Bangladesh and in 2009 I migrated to Australia as a qualified librarian. I have been working as a Library Professional in Local and State Government as well as the tertiary education sector in Australia and overseas for sixteen years.
Besides my regular job and study, I have been a Delegate and branch committee member of The National Tertiary Education Union, Australia for the RMIT branch. I am the Co-Chair(Elect) SIG-III, Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T), a member of Creative Commons Global Network, an existing member for Creative Commons Australia Chapter and lead responsible for Open Ed (Tertiary). As the founder and Editor in Chief, I lead The Librarian Times team in implementing its vision and mission.
