Training on Trainers!
Ahasan, Dhaka, 23 February 2019.
A three-day long training session of two different batches on “Brick Play and Orientation on Kano Computer and Micro:bit“ held at Hotel Sel Nibash, Dhaka from 11 February to 13 February 2019 and 18 February to 20 February 2019 respectively. Each batch had twenty participants from different public libraries of Bangladesh took part in the training session. Libraries Unlimited project of the British Council organized the training sessions.
Different contents including introducing bricks play in the libraries, background, context and planned activities, understanding children as a library customer, 21st century skills and Bricks Play, safety and security of the children in the Library, effective storytelling for engaging children, implementation strategy and monitoring mechanism, communication initiatives, orientation on Kano and Micro: bit. Facilitators of the said training session were Mr Shakil Amanullah Sinha, Course Coordinator, Mr Taposh Borua, Course Coordinator, Mr. Ali Ahmed, Component Lead, Mr. Tim Bin, IT Specialist, Mr. Tamim Ahmed, IT Specialist, Ms. Poddoja, Child Safety Trainer, Ms. Jinnat Ara, Communication Manager, Ms. Farhana Mithu, Actress and Child Storyteller.
It was a nice initiative and fruitful training said the participants.
