Open Access Week 2021: QA on Copyright, Creative Commons, Open Access, OER and …

Why do we need open access? How can we use it? Is it better for the sciences or the humanities? What is the relation between Copyright and Creative Commons?
Open Business Talk, School of Business, Bangladesh Open University, and The Librarian Times are going to jointly arrange a Q & A session to celebrate Open Access 2021. This year’s theme intentionally aligns with the recently released UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, of which Open Access is a crucial component. Circulated in draft form following discussion by representatives of UNESCO’s 193 member countries, the Recommendation powerfully articulates and centres the importance of equity in pursuing a future for the scholarship open by default.
The event is arranged based on the theme of 2021 Open Access Week. The Librarian Times Editor in Chief Prodip Roy will host this session.
