ALA Opens 2025 Annual Conference & Exhibition Call for Proposals

The American Library Association (ALA) is now accepting proposals for education programs and posters for its 2025 Annual Conference & Exhibition, scheduled for June 26-July 1, 2025, in Philadelphia. This premier event tackles pressing concerns in the library sector, offering a wide range of professional development opportunities focused on cutting-edge research, creative programming, strategic initiatives, and effective practices. The submission period is open until September 23, 2024.

Department of Information Studies, East West University hosted the 3rd International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (i-IKM 2023) from August 3rd to August 5th, 2023, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The theme of the 3rd i-IKM 2023 is “Inclusive and Equitable Access to Information for Smart Society”.

The first day of the conference (August 3rd 2023) was held on Zoom Platform where around 150 participants joined the session.

Vicki McDonald, President-Elect, IFLA and Professor Sirje Virkus from Tallinn University, attended the session as the Keynote speakers.

Library Association of Bangladesh (LAB), a leading library professional association in Bangladesh, organised the conference in a hybrid mood.
